How You Should Be Finding Targeted Mlm Leads

internet advertising
Targeted leads are the best MLM leads. This means that they are leads of prospects that show a specific interest in a specific type of business.
The question is: Where do you find targeted MLM leads?
There are the normal methods of placing ads in various media outlets such as newspapers, flyers, or business cards. If you get any calls from these they will definitely be targeted leads. However, the chances of getting those calls are extremely slim.
You can also approach people in your warm market, which is comprised of people you already know. This isn't recommended unless you have inside information about someone who specifically has an interest in what you're promoting. Typically your family and friends are turned off by an unsolicited approach.
Taking advantage of the Internet is the best way to get targeted leads in the marketplace today. Each and every day there are thousands if not millions of people looking on the internet for ways to make extra money.
A percentage of these are looking for actual jobs and are not necessarily looking for a business opportunity. A certain percentage are looking for the proverbial "get-rich-quick scheme." And then there are those who are looking for legitimate business opportunities.
Of those looking for business opportunities, a percentage of them want to purchase a more traditional type business. Perhaps they're interested in a franchise of some sort, or just want information on how to start their own business.
There are also those who may not quite be sure what they're looking for but just need to make some extra money or want to quit their current job. The right MLM opportunity might just fit their need.
These are all examples of targeted leads. There are thousands of them out there trying to find something similar to what you have to offer. You just need to get ahold of them.
You can either purchase leads of these types or you can generate your own. If you purchase leads there are no guarantees that they will pan out. History shows that less than 3% of the leads purchased will end up joining your program.
You can increase that success rate if you take the time to personally contact all the leads sent to you. That does take time and many people don't want calls, so you need to decide if the time spent is worth the effort.
You can also develop your own targeted leads by blogging, or joining a social networking site such as Twitter or Linkedin. These give you a chance to come in contact with large numbers of people who have similar interests as you.
By writing about your experiences and expertise you can gain a following of people who are particularly interested in your product. You can then direct them to click on links to your website. If they get far, you have just generated an excellent targeted lead.
